Le Cirque Inextremiste est une compagnie de cirque contemporain fondée en 2009 autour de Yann Ecauvre, artiste autodidacte à l’univers engagé et physique. Issu d’un collectif né en 1998 (As Pa de Maïoun), le groupe développe un langage radical mêlant acrobatie extrême, théâtre physique et humour cinglant.
Symbole de la compagnie : la bouteille de gaz, agrès instable et détourné, devenu emblème de la prise de risque réelle, du déséquilibre et du jeu.
Depuis sa première création Inextremiste en 2007 (autour d’un trampoline et de bouteilles de gaz), la compagnie n’a cessé de repousser les limites du spectaculaire. Chaque spectacle interroge la coopération, l’engagement et le corps mis en tension.

Cirque Inextremiste is a contemporary circus company founded in 2009 around Yann Ecauvre, a self-taught artist known for his bold, physical, and socially engaged approach. Originally emerging from the collective As Pa de Maïoun (founded in 1998), the group developed a radical language blending extreme acrobatics, physical theatre, and sharp humour.
The company’s emblem: the gas bottle, a fragile and unstable object turned into a performance apparatus—symbol of real risk, imbalance, and playful tension.
Since its first creation Inextremiste in 2007 (featuring a trampoline and gas bottles), the company has pushed the limits of circus, exploring cooperation, commitment, and physical tension.

The company now has around fifty members and tours Europe, establishing itself as a major force in daring, deeply collective contemporary circus.
